Sandbanks is a short drive from the centre of Poole and a very long walk, Parking is along the road (fee), there is a small Car Park at Shore Road with cafes and access on to Sandbanks Beach, the main car park on Sandbanks Peninsular is a few seconds along the road also with access directly onto Sandbanks Beach.  There is limited public transport coving Sandbank, buses go from the Main Bus Station in Poole and from Westover Road in the centre of Bournemouth crossing the entrance to Poole Harbour by the Sandbanks Ferry over to Studland down to  Swanage and back.
